*wibble* Everyone's gone to Anime Expo in California and I feel so lonely being stuck here in da UP... Not that the UP isn't amazing as it is but still.

and I know for sure (maybe ?) get to physically greet so many amazing artists over in the Artists' Alley! I WANNA GO SEE THE PEOPLE I ADMIRE ARTISTICALLY TOO~~~ *weep* Maybe I'm just depressed still from the past 4 days of overcast skies and rain we've had. Today's our first day of actual SUNSHINE in over 5 days and I'm stuck here pouting because I couldn't make it to AX this year...

I'm hoping to attend Anime North in Toronto, Canada again and also Anime Expo in LA for the first time next year as a graduation present to myself... Heaven forbid my plans backfire on me again and I have to attend another year of University before I can finally graduate. lllorz This fall will be the start of my 5th year attending University. Technically it should be my 6th, but I took this past year off of school because I had a bit of a mental breakdown (update futher down) back in July before classes had started.

But still... DA and MB both feel so empty with all the journals of people notifying that they'll be at AX for the next week or so... What's a Mae to do!? Of course sit by the door of everyone's house and wag her tail like a lost puppy until they get back.... OBVIOUSLY.

I went to Michael's craft store for some supplies I needed for my Drawing/Illustration class I'm taking for 6 weeks this summer (5 weeks to go omg) and stopped at the grocery store to grab groceries... LO AND BEHOLD, WHO DID I SEE IN THE SAME REGISTER LINE AS ME? The teacher who made me have a nervous breakdown about 1 year ago today!!! *shudder*

I think he recognized me too...... Which would be weird because I got my hair cut and look like a 12 year old boy now. Then again, I was wearing my hoodie that I always wore too... CRUD. But I looked away and pretended I didn't notice... DMANIT I HAD TO GO TO THAT LINE. fmlfmlfmlfmlfml.

I was supposed to re-take a class of his last fall but, like I said, I took the year off because of a nervous breakdown. Maybe it was Senior stress finally catching up with me. Then I was gonna re-take it this fall but I have to push all my home University classes to the Winter term since I'm going to a different University this fall for other graduation requirements that I need. Figures my main University doesn't offer Japanese, which I need to graduate. OTL;;;

I hope the teacher doesn't recognize my name on the roster for the Winter term...... /paranoid

Yup, finally taking a real art class at the University level! I'm glad I added an Art & Design minor~ I feel much better now having art in my life again ;w; I just finished my first week (out of 6) of my Drawing/Illustration course this summer! What would normally take 4 months, we do in 6 short weeks... Think of it as a kamikaze art regime ROFL;;; I had a lot of stress for the first major assignment that was due Thursday (yesterday) since we didn't get our supplies until Tuesday. And then I had to work all day Wednesday and Thursday before my class which meant I had to stay up late and get very little sleep Wednesday night :\

I thought I had done the last part of the assignment wrong but it turns out I didn't do as horrible as I thought! It was messy but it covered a majority of what should've been done in the picture so I was relieved... Not too shabby for my first assignment! I feel relieved now that I don't have to worry about the class or work today. Its a well needed day off from everything! Until I have to make dinner in a bit LOL;;;

I'm really enjoying gesture drawing~ Its fun, easy, quick and I don't seem to fail at it so much! 8D;; Ah but I do hate charcoal... Its so messy. I keep having to look in a mirror to make sure I don't give myself a charcoal mustache with my dirty fingers. D: But charcoal does seem to work much faster for my gesture drawings... Just wish it wouldn't turn my fingers black for days. >3<




Either way that's what's been going on recently. Until this point its been rather boring and uneventful. Any real updates had been done in my LJ because I really don't need to blabber on about my nonsense here on DA... DA IS FOR ART! WHOOOO!! Time for some REAL food before my body gives out on me again.... lllorz

Oh man I went on such a crazy chibi binge the past two days! XDDD I had a blast though~ I'm gonna proabably set off the coloring so I can do some of the contest winner's prizes first. I'll be doing them in the new chibi style too! Having done these the past few days was good practice, so now I'm confident with this new style and hope that the contest participants will be happy~

Frickin' crazy arse weather.... Its gusting like 45MPH today and it woke me up at 4am this morning! Yeah, the WIND woke me up! Sounded like it was gonna rip the roof off of the house. GAH. I suddenly wish my room was in the center of the house so I couldn't hear or feel the wind shaking the house so much OTL;;; Another night of barely any sleep. FML.

ROFLLLLL... F My Life amuses me when I'm having a bad day. I feel bad for those people but at the same time, its almost a relief to know I'm not the only one. And it lets you realize that the little things that happen to you are nothing compared to some of the things happening to other people. Remember, you're not the only one in the world.

I wish it was 4pm so this frickin' wind would die down enough for me to sleep. OTL;;; I wanna be able to watch the season premier of Ghost Hunters tonight! AJFPSOEIJFFFF! It takes SciFi almost a week to put the episode up online to watch, and we all know my short attention span can't handle that long of a wait! *headdesk* I still haven't seen the season finale of Ghost Hunters International yet because they haven't uploaded it... *checks site* Nope, still don't have the Latvia episode up. And yes, I LOL'd when I heard them say it was in Latvia. Goes to show you APH still owns my soul.
