Personality: A childish and easily amused personality is the first thing people notice. Although 21 years old, she has the spirit and heart of an 8 year old. But this causes problems as well. Her eagerness to assist the needy sometimes puts her into dangerous situations because of her willingness to put other's safety before her own, causing Jun and Kiyoshi a lot of stress. She has an ability to sympathize with people around her and really grasp a person's feelings. Even though she's eager to assist people, she has what some call a darker side with a twist. She enjoys "non-traditional" sports such as Archery and Precision Shooting. Raised as a tom-boy she's gained unique abilities in fly-tying, traditional Archery and a keen eye for firearm target shooting. To many, its a little unnerving when a doll-like girl in a frilly Lolita Dress suddenly says she wants to go shoot an AS50 Sniper Rifle with .50 caliber bullets.
Intelligence: Not exceptionally smart, and not yet as dumb as a door knob. Mae knows her strengths and weaknesses, and continues through life learning and engaging the world around her. With a visual learning personality type, she enjoys visual aids and other more colorful and entertaining ways of learning. But she has a deep hatred for Mathematics and can't memorize anything on cue. She believes that her childhood Memorization class might've had something to do with her inability to remember information for long.
Style: Always open to new fashions, she enjoys everything from frilly Victorian-style Lolita dresses to simple everyday hoodies and jeans. Quite frequently she finds herself attracted to outfits in black and white color schemes. But although this catches her eye most frequently, she enjoys wears "colored" clothing as well. She also has a necklace, like Kiyoshi, she never takes off. A black bead with a white cross painted on it matches the one she gave to Kiyoshi, although a switch in colors. And to remind herself of her dream, she got a tattoo of angel wings she designed, outlined on her back. Her reason for living being the ability to protect the people she cherishes in this world, like a guardian angel.
Quirks: Mae has an interestingly large amount of quirks. Ranging from life-threatening nosebleeds when Kiyoshi is shirtless, to asking customers if its "nap time yet" with a straight face at work. Some funny and random, others deep and depressing. One of her rarest quirks is what she's come to call her "Philosophical Moments", where her wisdom and personality suddenly changes to a degree far beyond her age. In these moments she can be found sitting alone staring at the details many people don't notice, questioning God and humanity about what this world has come to. But don't let this frighten you, as it has to many, but instead take this opportunity to understand the extremes of Mae's "naive" personality.

Kiyoshi "purity" (kanji: 清 hiragana: きよし )

Hair: Light brown, short/medium length hair with longer hair in front of his ears...
Loves: Cold weather, sports, traveling, BBQs and history...
Hates: Stuffy busy cities, rude people, competitions and deserts...
Personality: He has a very calm and kind demeanor that's easily noticeable by the people around him. Always wearing a smile, he enjoys listening to Mae ramble on about nonsense (although he doesn't find it "rambling" or "nonsense"). He may look sweet and innocent, but you do not want to tempt this sleeping dragon. If anyone threatens Mae he's quick to step in and knock that person out. But in the nicest way possible. Although Jun finds Kiyoshi irritating due to his relationship with Mae, Kiyoshi doesn't seem to have a problem with Mae and Jun's bond. But then again we aren't too sure what exactly is going on in Kiyoshi's head.
Inteligence: A subtle presence with a hidden degree of intelligence. He has exceptional grades in all of his classes (History, Math, Science etc.) but he does not enjoy flaunting his abilities. Preferring to help out people who ask for his assistance, he'll use the best of his abilities to conquer any question. Whereas Jun is quick to correct the smallest detail regardless of tack.
Style: He can quite easily pull off any style. Many people envy his open fashion sense and ability to make anything look good. He's commonly seen wearing comfortable neutral fashion clothing that, even in its simplicity, is extremely detailed and flattering. He also has a necklace that he wears constantly that is a gift from Mae. Its a white bead with a painted black cross on it, which is the opposite version of Mae's necklace (a black bead with a white cross). He refuses to take off the necklace and finds it his most prized possession.
Quirks: There are not many quirks about Kiyoshi that can be picked out by people. Although sometimes there are hints to what "could" be a weird habit of his. One such speculation is that Kiyoshi is secretly "dirty minded" at times. Usually when Mae does something that can be taken in the wrong way, in which she never seems to notice Kiyoshi's frantic blushing and nosebleeds.
Back story: Created as my "dream" guy, I guess. It started out as me just practicing drawing guys, since I suck horribly, and then he became a character I really love. :3 At first drawn as a Naruto OC, but now its just my other main OC...

Kandi (new version of "Candy")

Height: 5' 9"
Body type: Slender frame that hides her strength
Eyes: Light brown
Hair: Long golden hair
Loves: Swimming, playing in the snow and entertaining people
Hates: Seeing Mae cry, being alone and not being hugged by Mae
Personality: She's a very gentle person with a quiet demeanor. She doesn't yell and speaks softly in a polite manor. Her number one priority is Mae since she's her little sister which goes to show you why she's constantly nearby whenever she can.
Intelligence: Extremely smart but very humble about it. She can pick up all kinds of new information very easily and her memory is excellent. Which helps out a lot since Mae forgets things easily.
Style: She wears a lot of dresses that are very elegant looking. She's seen more in pastel colors than bold although fashion isn't a big deal to her.
Quirks: If Mae goes to a place frequently, Kandi will as well. But if Mae should suddenly stop going there Kandi will avoid it too. Not because Kandi dislikes the place but that she doesn't find a reason to go there unless Mae would. She's a dotting older sister.
Back story: This is a very special character to me. This is a gijinka (human) version of our dog when I was a baby. My parent's got a Golden Retriever puppy a few months before I was born.
History: Her full name is "Lady Candy Minnesin". "Minnesin" is Cherokee for "peninsula" (since we lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and there was no word in Cherokee for "candy") that my Dad found in an extremely old dictionary at the library where we lived. Ironically the dictionary was always locked behind glass and the day after he look through it he came back and they said no one's allowed to touch the dictionary since its so old. He was very lucky to have accidentally been allowed to look through it in the first place, and so the story of her name is really quite interesting to me.
Sadly, Candy died when I was about 6 years old. She had an extremely bad case of skin cancer and other medical problems. We took her all the way down to Michigan State University which is well known for its Veterinary school. They told us we could do surgery but she would be almost completely blind and deaf afterwords. My parents took the weekend to think about it and took her up north to my Grammie's house. While there, Candy sat in the corner of the room and never moved. This was extremely odd since she was very active while up there normally. That's when my parent's realized they couldn't bear to see her in this pain and depression. So we had to put her down.
Memories: While growing up she was a lot like a big sister to me. It sounds odd to say that about a dog but to me its very true. She protected me and was constantly by my side. As an infant she would sleep under my crib and if I started crying she would go downstairs and bark at my parents' to come check on me. And when I was placed in the swing she would sleep underneath it, but only if I was in the swing. She and I were very close. When we had to put her down I cried for a week. I still do sometimes when I'm falling asleep. My Dad is still surprised when he remembers her at just how protective of me she was. She did things my Dad had never trained her and it stunned him.
I changed her name's spelling to "Kandi" because it would get confusing if I kept writing "Candy" instead. I remember when I was 10 years old I got a golden retriever plushie from my Aunt for Christmas. It was so cute and had a little blue collar on it too. As soon as I opened the present and saw it I started crying. I still have that plushie and I keep it close to me all the time. That little plushie has wiped away a lot of my tears over these 13 years and I always keep her memory very close.

Hair: Black hair mixed with gray, some sand color streaks in his bangs, in a messy-rocker kind of hair style...
Loves: Clinging to Mae, being outside, food and his LoofaDog...
Hates: Being home alone, small rooms, yelling and sharing Mae with Kiyoshi...
Personality: Has the style of a punk rocker, with an attitude that tends to scare most people. Although to his dismay, there are some rabid (no pun intended haha) fangirls who like that he's scary and quiet. Don't they all. *kicks fangirls* Anyway, but his personality changes rapidly whenever he's around Mae. He because childish, clingy and very smiley. But only to Mae. (I'm teh owner! I have da POWA!) He doesn't seem to trust Kiyoshi and gives him this teasing glare when he's hugging Mae. But as much as Jun hugs Mae, Mae hugs Jun just as much! He is her lil puppy after all...
Inteligence: Since he's actually an Australian Shepard in real-life, he's very smart and a quick learner. His intelligence can be rated at a high level with a knack to shock the unsuspecting. No matter how docile and silly he acts around Mae, he's quick to correct other people while giving Mae the benefit of the doubt...
Style: He always has some kind of jewelry that has his name's kanji on it. Necklace, ring or whatever it is he's got it on. His hair is the first thing people are directed to since its black, gray and a little brown. Not to mention slightly messy in a surprisingly fashionable way. He also has a small keychain/charm of a blue "LoofaDog" that he has on his cellphone and luggage, since it was a gift from Mae he keeps it with him wherever he goes.
Quirks: He has a weird habit of hiding his stuff on Mae's bed under a pile of blankets. He obviously doesn't comprehend the fact that its not really all that secret when Mae eventually goes to bed.
Mae: "What da he\\ is this steak doing under my blankets!?"
Jun: "So that's where I put my dinner..."
History: He was picked up and quickly adopted by the eager Mae who had moved out on her own. She didn't want to start her new life alone so she helped this lil guy find some hope in the Big World.
Backstory: Created after making a joke with ~mattcha about what our pets would look like gijinka (human) style...

Birthday: June 30th
Height: 5'8" (about as tall as he'll get, early growth spurt)
Body type: Lanky (since he's so young he's been confused for a girl)
Blood Type: unknown
Eyes: Gray
Hair: White and almost shoulder length, with a soft curl towards the tips.
Skin: Medium-tan color that many people think is the perfect tan. Although he does not go to a tanning booth because its natural.
Loves: Blending in and not being noticed, bright colors, cloudy days.
Hates: Standing out, the color black, sunny days without a single cloud in the sky.
Personality: Think of a inverted colored emo? He's prone to emotional depressions. And because he doesn't show much of his face, not a lot of people understand him. Mae is the best one at reading his feelings but even sometimes she gets confused. Even though he's always emotional and shy, he enjoys wearing bright colored clothing. He thinks that if he wears bright colored clothes, people won't notice his stark-white hair with his tan skin. Mae likes to tease him and nicknamed him "Mono", which is short for "monochrome" (white hair and gray/black eyes). He doesn't mind her teasing though, since she always teases herself along with him too. Mae secretly laughs every time someone calls his name because she suddenly pictures Kankan doing a cancan dance.
Intelligence: Not very smart but not unintelligent either. He doesn't talk much so his vocabulary is small. Because of his constant efforts to blend in, he doesn't spend enough time studying or observing basic human interaction.
Style: He wears a kind of punk alternative style that deals with mostly neon colors. He hopes that by wearing bright colors his stark white hair and contrasting tan skin won't be nearly as noticable. Occasionally Mae will try to get Kankan to try other more toned-down styles of clothing but it puts him in an uncomfortable position. He does enjoy wearing hats as well, although he never chooses the kinds that hide all of his hair. Which only goes to show you more of his limited intelligence and observational skills.
Quirks: Hides in bright corners when depressed. He will also tend to mumble things out loud while emoing in the brightly lite corners. Mae's the only one who doesn't find it weird.
History: He was a young boy Mae and Jun came across one day in the rain when they caught his bright colored clothing in a park as they were walking back from the market. That was the first time Mae saw him smile, although it was an almost relieved kind of smile. She came to be very close to him and she's the only one who can get him to come close to smiling.
Backstory: Random OC developed by a simple pencil drawing of an eye. A very lovable kind of character that you almost can't help but torture... In the nicest way possible of course.

Hair: Gray with a soft sheen of a rainbow of colors in the light, top layer curls out above her shoulders, and the bottom layer is as long as her knees
Loves: Being patted on the head, hugs and cute clothes
Hates: Being scolded, being left alone and dirt
Personality: An android that specializes in whatever applications the owner chooses. Most popular choice of software is Vocaloid and Wannabe-Idol programs that allow for voice and dance training. Thrives on being noticed and acknowledged by owner. Her personality and emotional output is heightened when around her owner. She often giggles and smiles an adorable little smile that people squeal over. Suspicious of people who approach her owner and is very shy.
Intelligence: Super computing abilities and human learning program allows her intelligence to keep growing with each day. Will not use computer abilities unless owner initiates program use.
Style: Dresses in whatever her own wishes. She likes everything she gets to wear but really enjoys dresses and hair clips most of all.
Quirks: Whenever she greets someone for the first time, she tells them that her name is Romanian for "bluebell" and then gives a short informational lecture on bluebells in the Language of Flowers. She will then tell you her name was chosen by her owner because of her vibrant blue eyes.
History: Mae won a lottery where an android was the grand prize. Viorcia soon settled into Mae's ever growing family very well. Supposed to be emotionless with very basic facial expressions and no emotions. Emphasis on "supposed" to be. Glitch in programming is causing Viorcia to actually "grow". When asked to fix the error Viorcia talks about a "fairy" that granted her a special wish. Nothing can be done to repair the program defect, not that anyone really cares since not many know that she's an android in the first place.
Backstory: I was watching some Vocaloid videos on YouTube and kinda wanted to draw a picture. And in the end I doodled this little thing up and really came to love the design.

Hair: Light golden brown that's slightly curly-messy (in a good way) due to wearing hats
Loves: Gardens, his guardian angel Angela, smiling
Hates: His parents trying to plan his life, worrying people, snobby girls
Personality: An air-head but in the nicest sense. He's simple minded as well as easily distracted, but he enjoys life as he goes around with his adorably sweet innocent smile. Despite this he has a heart of solid gold. He'll jump in to save a person without a second thought and continue to smile despite his own injuries.
Intelligence: Regardless of his slow personality, he does have a hidden degree of sharp factual intelligence. He doesn't find that this makes him all that happy so he tends to avoid confrontations with other well-to-do members of society, and would rather be indifferent to the subject all together. He prefers life to be kept simple.
Style: His character is found mostly in the Victorian Era where he is of a higher social status so his clothing reflects this. But in today's standards he's a well dressed man who would wear suits and other "sharp" clothing in a more comfortable simple way. He's not one to be strict about his tie or shirt though, much to his family's dismay.
Quirks: He loves hats! He's been wearing them since he was a child and they seem to have permanently left him with hat hair that's just a bit curly and unkempt. Although it is quite flattering on him since it works with his personality and facial structure well~
History: His personality and general history was taken from a short story I wrote named, "Not Even After Death" which had no physical character designs. So when I started to draw a gentleman in Victorian wear I remembered the story and created a connection with the two.

Personality: Before the accident she was a very lively and optimistic girl. She was constantly expressing herself in any form of artistic medium she could get her hands on. As a gifted artist she had a bright future and supportive family to guide her through each day. Despite her talent she was very humble and was constantly trying to improve. But after she lost her eyesight she became reclusive and bitter. She had a hard time adjusting and became depressed. During which time she tried to push her parents away since she felt she was too much of a burden. The only person she let close to her was her seeing eye dog, Amery.
Back story: In the prologue short story, "Poisoned Dreams", she's a young and upcoming artist who is attending a prestigious Art Institute her freshman year. In which time she was the target of a jealous classmates attack. She was poisoned to the point of loosing her eyesight but luckily not her life. After which she had a hard time adjusting to the fact that she would never get her sight back. She fell into a deep depression that she has yet to come out of when "Forgotten Eyes" makes its start.

Personality: A friendly guy who's been traveling to find his place in the world. He's optimistic and goes with the flow. Makes many of his decisions by flipping a coin and very rarely does he go against it. His gut feelings are the only things that keep him from going entirely with the luck of the draw. When he gets a feeling or idea in his mind its hard to get him to think otherwise. He'll follow through with it in the thought that there's a reason for that gut feeling. He does his best to gain trust from the people he feels he needs to help. And once his "job" is done he'll take off for the next town before anyone can say thanks since he's a humble man and does not need the praise or acknowledgment.
Back story: Not much is known about him yet. He has a mysterious past beyond the recent few years of his traveling and helping people in each little town he comes across. Just trying to find his place in the world, which ever direction the flip of the coin takes him. He specializes in medical knowledge which some speculate is because his mother is a doctor and his father is a psychologist. But most people are not sure if its true since he doesn't talk much about his past.

Androphobia is the fear of men; but in Alina's case, whenever she's touched by someone of the opposite gender she reverts to her opposite personality.

Back story: The other main character for a short story I wrote for my EN215 class. Came up with the idea of a character with an urge to help others. Due to his own past problems he finds comfort in helping those around him, even if its just listening to them.

Her Mother had healing abilities and was from Shiroi-Country. Her Father was a strong and kind general who was supposed to be named the new ruler of Kuro-Country. But her parents died when she was 5 years old.
Back story: Another character I came up with for a story I'm seriously thinking about. Story idea came from a messed up dream I had one night. Really weirded me out, in a kind of good way? Main character and the person I was "playing" as in the dream.

Info: Susuinu is a small creature that reminds Rinko of a poodle, which is why she constantly refers to him as the "poodle like thing". Probably why Susuinu doesn't quite warmup to Rinko.

Personality: Quick witted and when she speaks its always to point out Nenano's faults. Always willing to bring up how "M" appears before "N" in the alphabet.
Back story: Little doodle from my "Y2-OUCH" comic, alot of people seemed to like them so I kept them, and she's my sarcastic little comic-character.

Personality: Stupid and mischevious, she's always trying to do something to get back at Memamo. She has yet to come up with a come back to Memamo's "alphabet" comment.
Back story: Another doodle from my "Y2-OUCH" comic, she just started out as a normal chibi and then when I added lil demon wings and stuff she was too cute to take out of the costume! So now she's my devious little comic-character.
